Our sessions are flexible and tailored to your specific goals. Depending on your needs, we may work one-on-one with your dog to build a new skill, or we may work together with you to practice in real-world scenarios. This will all be discussed in detail during your meet-and-greet.
Yes. Every new partnership begins with a free meet-and-greet assessment. This allows us to meet you and your dog, understand their personality, and ensure we are the right fit for your training goals before we begin.
We use our professional training gear because it is the safest way for your dog to be handled. Standard flat collars and conventional slip leads are not ideal for training because they can put concentrated, harmful pressure on the trachea if a dog pulls. Specialized gear (such as slip leads with fit control and pinch collars) allows pressure to be distributed evenly and gently around the neck without choking. When sized and used correctly, this gear acts as a soft guiding signal, helping your dog understand communication through clear cues rather than physical discomfort.
While harnesses are great for some activities, they aren't designed for teaching. A harness encourages a dog to pull by engaging their natural "opposition reflex" against the chest. This makes it harder for the dog to hear your signals clearly. We want to keep communication as clear and simple as possible so your dog can succeed quickly and confidently.
Absolutely. Puppies are still developing their physical and social foundations, so we use harnesses exclusively during their early learning stages. Once they are a bit older and ready to begin their formal learning journey, we transition to professional training gear to provide the clear guidance they need as they grow.
Yes. We have experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes. We customize our communication and training approach to match your dog's unique temperament and needs, ensuring they feel confident and successful regardless of their breed.
